The Jacksons' 25th Motown Anniversary performance. At first the brothers didn't want to perform for the record company with which they broke off nearly eight years earlier, but finally they decided to give a short appearance on condition that, apart from Motown songs, Michael will perform "Billie Jean" - song from his latest record, "Thriller". The audience was satisfied with the band's show and was also surprised by Jermaine's appearance on stage (he didn't take part in The Jackson's career) who participated in singing two popular songs from Jackson 5 period: "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "I'll Be There".
Towards the end of the show, Michael performed "Billie Jean" for the very first time, showing also famous moonwalk and standing on feet tip. Not only "Thriller's" circulation rose and the moonwalk became Michael's inseparable symbol but also the singer was commended by his idol, Fred Astaire.

Interestingly, the "Remember the Time" performance was planned to be part of "Dangerous" World Tour, but finally it was omitted (the same as "Rock With You").
